A precious DVD converted from original video tapes. Their first performance in Japan had been recorded on these tapes on August 19th 1963 at TBS studio in Tokyo for television. with G.Lewis N.O.ALL Stars, Blacksmith & His Boys
A record of the exchange between George Lewis and the Rascals, when he visited Japan for the first time in 1963. It is a precious recording of the session that determined the history of the Rascals for over 40 years.
Muneyoshi Nishiyo's Blacksmith & His Boys also participated.

A Tribute To San Jacinto Hall
A tribute issue that the Rascals Quintet recorded at the Ashiya Church in 1976. The acoustics are very similar to the echo of the San Jacinto Hall known for the American Music label. You can enjoy the performance of the Rascals in their second half of the thirties.

Recoded at the 36th All Nippon Dixieland Jazz Festival. Hymns are recorded with the highest quality of sound. The atmosphere will recall to you George Lewis Band's famous "Vespers Session".

NOR-CD104 A Christmas in Kobe 1979

New Orleans Rascals Quartets & Trios
An old port town, Kobe has many houses built as part of the Foreign Concession of the Meiji Period. Among them is the "Shiroi-ijin-kan" where this Christmas concert took place. The room was narrow, but it was the perfect setting to enjoy music during the session.
